BARISTA/RETAIL ASSOCIATE
RAD Coffee Club is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable Barista who’s also comfortable helping in the retail shop during slower coffee moments.
This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, people, and creative local brands and wants a job that stays interesting. You’ll primarily make and serve great coffee, but you’ll also help with light retail tasks that keep the shop flowing smoothly.
This is not two jobs smashed together. It’s one role built for a small, creative business that values flexibility, teamwork, and good vibes.
COFFEE/BARISTA RESPONSIBILITIES (Primary)
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee & espresso drinks
- Deliver warm, welcoming customer service
- Keep the coffee cart clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow drink recipes, food safety, and health guidelines
- Open and/or close the coffee cart as scheduled
- Talk confidently about our coffee, ingredients, and mission
RETAIL SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES (Secondary)
(During slower coffee moments or scheduled overlap)
- Greet customers and assist with in-store shopping
- Ring up retail purchases (POS system)
- Restock merchandise and keep displays tidy
- Help with basic cleaning and organization
- Support events, pop-ups, and busy weekends
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Positive attitude and strong people skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to jump in and help where needed
- Dependable and punctual (huge for this role)
- Barista experience with some retail experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light boxes (merch + supplies)

RAD RETAIL ASSOCIATE
Rockford Art Deli is a fast-growing screen printing and retail shop. From 10am-6pm on Monday through Friday, we make custom apparel for an array of amazing clients along with printing our own items to sell in the retail space.
We’re looking for a Full Time or Part Time Retail Associate to help enhance our retail team, giving amazing customer service and keeping the shop looking great. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
You want to work at Rockford Art Deli because we have been in the business for over 18 years and love working with the community. We have a laid back work environment and always strive to get team member feedback for new ideas and growth.
As a Retail Associate at Rockford Art Deli, you’re the face of the brand. You’re a key part of helping customer find their next favorite RAD garment. You won’t just be folding shirts all day – you’ll work collaboratively with the entire team to figure out the best way show off the garments and make the shop sparkle. This is a job with independence and responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Front counter duties, including but not limited to: ringing customers up, helping customers find items, having knowledge of boutique products, answering the phone, taking quotes
- Keeping the shop clean and organized on a nightly basis, straightening / folding / hanging / vacuum / sweep
- Create displays throughout the boutique on a weekly basis
- Handle money from both boutique and custom printing customers
- Open and/or close the store on any given day
- Occasionally help count and fold custom jobs when needed
- Inventory boutique items properlyand put into store
- Occasionally work events outside of or later than normal RAD hours
- Social media assistance for boutique
DETAILS
- Monday - Saturday: 10am - 6pm (hours changing soon for Summer 8pm certain nights)_ Sunday 12 - 4pm
- Part time hours would vary - Late mornings / Afternoon / Nights / Weekends
- RAD work environment

- $13 - $15/hour starting
